THERA-vital: Basic equipment
- Control panel with a 5,7''-colour display
Size of the display 115 mm x 86 mm, high resolution and adjustable inclination. For patients with visual impairment and distortion of perception.
- Easy handling
Adjustable speed, direction of rotation, resistance and therapy time anytime without switching the display.
- START/STOP-indicator lights
The simplest and safest possibility to start or finish an exercise.
- Speech-activated safety stop feature
The exerciser can be stopped by shouting. For maximized safety particularly for upper body exercising.
- Anti-spasm-control
The exerciser is stopped in case of a spasticity and loosens it in the direction of movement you set before.The sensitivity of the anti-spasm-control is adjustable.
- Biofeedback "Bars" or "Road"
The display of the active performance is separated (right and left leg). That makes a specific therapy for right-left-differences possible, especially for stroke patients.
- Biofeedback „Passive"
Graphic representation of the current muscle tone compared to the muscle tone at the beginning of the training.
- Isokinetic exerciser
Exercising at constant speed and automatic adaptation of resistance (variable strength input).
- Power exerciser
Exercising at a constant power level (parameter in watt) and automatic adaptation of resistance (variable strength input).
- Cardio exerciser

- Evaluation of exercising
At the end of the exercise active performance, symmetry, time of exercising, distance, number of spasms, etc. is displayed automatically.
- Submenu
The extensive submenu enables the trained operator to adapt various training parameters to the user's individual demands (e.g. motor power, pulse limit, ...).
- Handle
For safe holding during the exercise. Adjustable in height and inclination. Slip-resistant handle cover with soft foam rubber. Recommended for active exercising, spasticity and lacking torso stability.
- Foot rests
With safety fixings and a loop tape. For safe fixation of your feet. The foot rests are washable.
- 2-step radius adjustment (75 mm, 110 mm)
Crank radius adjustable with tools in 2 steps.
- Get-in support
For positioning the legs independently. Keeps the foot rest in the bottom position constantly.
- Transportation device with big castors
The transportation device is extendable. The big castors on the user's side make it possible to change the distance to the equipment subsequently. Height of the transportation device incl. castors: 74 mm.
- Active muscle support
An integrated electric flywheel supports in case of partial active performance (e.g. because of a stroke) and ensures a harmonic rotation. Minimal remaining muscle strength can be activated.
- 200 Watt motor
Very powerful, robust, extremely quiet and durable.
- 2 USB interface
For easy software updates, capture of exercising data via the THERA-assist software or data transfer to the printer.
