10-RM-Method with the THERA-Trainer (Repetition Maximum)

Miscellaneous:

Adjust the level of resistance so that you will show symptoms of fatigue in the 9th or 10th turn (e.g. reduced speed).

Performance:

Please do 3 - 5 repetitions with 10 turns each. Maintain the speed for 10 turns. If you want you can increase the level of resistance after every turn. 

Aims of the exercise:
  • Effective exercise for maximum strength
  • Increased muscular activation
  • Improvement of walking abilities

This exercise was developed in cooperation with the executive physiotherapist of Ichenhausen Clinic. Anyway you should contact your doctor or take advice from your therapist before the exercise.
